Kelly Micheletti is Managing Partner of Yost & Baill and has the privilege of working with an incredible group of attorneys, paralegals and legal assistants across our three offices. Kelly’s national practice is dedicated primarily to litigation of large property subrogation losses in the areas of products liability, fire and general torts. Kelly serves as national counsel for a number of insurance carriers handling their defective product cases.
Kelly began her career with Yost & Baill managing the auto subrogation practice, where she successfully litigated and tried cases in state and federal courts. She transitioned onto the property subrogation team, while continuing to manage the auto subrogation practice. Prior to joining Yost & Baill, Kelly served as a clerk to the Honorable Anne K. McKeig, Minnesota District Court, 4th Judicial District for both Criminal Court and Family Court.
Since joining Yost & Baill, Kelly has been an active member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), a non-profit trade association dedicated to the mission of education and networking within the subrogation industry. She has given a number of presentations at national NASP conferences on topics ranging from complex damages in auto subrogation to direct and cross examination tips, large loss subrogation and management skills. Kelly has also been selected as a conference co-chair for the 2013 NASP Litigation Skills Conference as well as the 2022 NASP Spring Conference. She has been published a number of times in The Subrogator. Kelly was elected and served as a director on the NASP Board of Directors from 2019-2025. She was also nominated as the Education Advisor for NASP for 2023-2024, where she helped create the Certified Subrogation Recovery Specialist (CSRP) Modules for both property and auto subrogation. She has also participated in NASP Conference Planning committees, Finance committees and Nominations Committees.
